This is an entry-level position with the Desktop Support team. You will focus on providing real-time support for technology problems and fulfillment services (move, add, or change requests) for our internal customers. Description:
This is an entry-level position with the Desktop Support team. You will focus on providing real-time support for technology problems and fulfillment services (move, add, or change requests) for our internal customers. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who enjoys a fast paced environment, has great customer service skills and a "can-do" spirit.
Required Skills:
- The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in technology and/or a minimum 1 years' recent experience supporting technology.
- A working knowledge of PC technical support of the Windows and Macintosh OS (Windows 10, Windows 11 and Mac OS X) is desired.
- Should demonstrate strong communication skills, including both written and verbal.
- Work with a team of Desktop Support technicians in one of the largest service centers with over 6,000 users.
- System administration of Windows 10, Windows 11 and Mac OS X desktops and laptops.
- Provide hands on installation, troubleshooting and technology support for desktops, laptops, monitors and personal printers.
- Also required to provide phone support and remote assistance as needed.
- Deploy and reclaim computer equipment which includes maintaining asset management database with current status.
- Document work in various tools. (Remedy, Clarity)
- Provide excellent customer support to employees..
- Flexible Hours 8 -4:30 or 8:30 - 5:00
