Job Summary:

Our ideal candidate is someone with 5-7 years’ experience working with various environmental programs (Title V, Air Emissions Inventory, GHG, TSCA, SARA, TRI, Tier 2, etc.) as well as experience with ESG, particularly with regulatory aspects, key reporting frameworks & ESG data collection and analysis who is interested in sharing their experiences and knowledge to help us develop and improve our software product offerings and increase the knowledge of our internal teams.

Because this role supports several other departments, our ideal candidate must be forward thinking, adaptable to change and new ideas and thrive in a collaborative environment. Additionally, because this role works entirely from home, the ideal candidate for this position is someone who is self-motivated & directed, inquisitive, communicative, professional and detail oriented.


Key Responsibilities:

• Provide analytical insight and understanding of the EHS domain, with responsibility for the execution of strategic and complex initiatives in accordance with the Roadmap Steering Committee and based on a detailed knowledge of the market drivers

• Engage with other departments to provide insightful perspectives on the issues, challenges and opportunities present in the marketplace

• Develop and co-create analysis and content beyond publicly available information, interacting with colleagues and customers to incorporate domain analysis into other departments’ deliverables

• Ensure an outcome-focused approach to creating and deploying thought leadership by supporting content creation and product development with sound analysis.

• Synthesize a compelling viewpoint by combining variety of perspectives and sources across the company to drive results

• Support Other Departments

o Provide guidance on marketing and customer education content creation and ensure deliverables are appropriately written for our customers and target audience

o Identify opportunities for improvement in current training content and knowledgebase and set appropriate goals for improving our offering

o Ensure customer needs are met with features that accommodate real-world usage scenarios

o Translate customer requirements into product design requirements

o Provide real-world interpretation of customer feedback

o Develop customer facing deliverables such as templates, blog articles, eGuides, infographics, webinars, etc., geared towards environmental topics

• Inspire Customer Success Across Company

o Align with Marketing to aid in marketing to existing clients

o Align with Product Development to help drive product roadmap

o Align with Sales to help cross-sell and up-sell and focus on selling with a retention focus

o Drive company-wide definition of ideal customer

o Support a company-wide customer feedback loop


Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• Strong written and verbal communication skills and impeccable attention to detail

• Ability to quickly learn on the job

• Enjoy educating others on areas of expertise

• Previous team management experience and enjoy leading individuals and projects

• Familiarity with EHS software solutions

• Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks (especially environmental) in North America

• Comfortable in a rapid, technology-driven environment

• Familiarity with our product is a big bonus

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and surveying methodologies and tools

• Customer-centric, customer-focused, motivated by continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing

• 7-10 years of hands on experience in the EHS industry in roles with an increasing level responsibility

• Self-directed professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills
