Location: On-site

Compensation: Competitive salary with comprehensive benefits package

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Thursday 6am-4:30pm

What will your day look like?

Safety (30%)

• Collaborate with internal/external consultants for safety and ergonomic assessments.

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures with management.

• Coordinate and improve safety programs to ensure a safe working environment.

• Review and recommend revisions to current safety training programs.

• Halt operations and activities that pose a risk to staff or equipment.

• Foster a culture focused on minimizing workplace injuries, accidents, and health issues.

• Provide required training on safety programs and procedures (e.g., LO/TO).

• Facilitate, organize, and train the Safety Committee.


Engineering (40%)

• Create technical documents for step-by-step operation or troubleshooting of control and electrical systems.

• Identify weaknesses in the production line or finished products and recommend improvements.

• Ensure quality standards for electronic and mechanical parts.

• Create mechanical models and tolerance analyses to simulate design concepts.

• Lead and support multi-departmental initiatives to achieve design/project requirements.

• Oversee the work of contractors per project requirements.

• Provide recommendations for key changes in methods or processes.

• Develop project scopes, objectives, and ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.

• Conduct research, document findings, and present reports.

• Oversee technical aspects of applicable projects.


Manufacturing (30%)

• Work independently with minimal supervision.

• Utilize experience in development/production environments.

• Proficient in production setup and understanding of GD&T.

• Quickly respond to machine changes through audible, visual, and vibratory observation.

• Maintain efficiency to utilize machine capacity.

• Monitor product quality and recommend tool/method changes when needed.

• Knowledge of G and M code preferred.

Who are you?

Safety Advocate: Strong understanding of safety and ergonomics, with experience in developing and implementing safety policies and procedures.

Engineering Expert: Skilled in creating technical documents, identifying production weaknesses, and ensuring quality standards.

Manufacturing Professional: Experience in development/production environments, proficient in GD&T, and able to quickly respond to machine changes.

Effective Communicator: Ability to correspond effectively with team members, management, and external consultants.

Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Adaptable and Reliable: Ability to work within the given schedule, with a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Technical Proficiency: Experience with a variety of manufacturing equipment and technology.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED

• 2+ years of experience in a safety, engineering, or manufacturing role

• Ability to work in environmentally and physically challenging conditions

• Effective written and verbal communication skills
