Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as an Environmental Health Safety Specialist at Samsung South Carolina, located in Newberry, SC. The Environmental Health Safety Specialist will be responsible for ensuring workplace safety, conducting safety training, and implementing and maintaining environmental health and safety (EHS) standards. The role will involve day-to-day tasks related to health and safety management and compliance.
Qualifications
Experience in Health & Safety, Occupational Health, and Workplace Safety
Knowledge and understanding of Environment Health and Safety (EHS) standards
Ability to conduct safety training and promote a culture of safety
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus
Certifications in relevant health and safety fields are preferred
