Lockheed Martin is seeking a skilled and dedicated Environmental Safety and Health Engineer Stf to join our team. This critical role provides comprehensive EHS support to our Facility Engineering, Aircraft Production, and Sustainment Operations. As an EHS Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies, conducting thorough audits and inspections, and developing and implementing safety programs. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment, contributing to the overall success and safety of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
Review, interpret, and implement EHS policies to ensure compliance with corporate, local, state, and federal regulations.
Conduct environmental, safety, aircraft, and explosives audits and inspections, and act as the liaison with governmental agencies.
Develop and implement corrective actions following incidents and EHS program deficiencies.
Assist with the handling and disposal of hazardous materials and support the site explosive program.
Provide support for OSHA-required programs, including Fall Protection, Hazardous Materials, Confined Space, and Powered Industrial Trucks.
Conduct EHS training sessions and support compliance initiatives for facility changes and ongoing operations.
