The ideal candidate must be organized and detail-oriented to organize and facilitate events, programming, and projects. Candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of events and programs, ensuring they run smoothly and meet organizational objectives. This role requires exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.


Responsibilities:

• Understand requirements for each event, and program and help to create and plan projects, ongoing programs, and events.

• Adhere to financial and time constraints, manage program operations, and develop relationships with business partners.

• Experience planning meetings, and events, and proven ability to work within a team.

• Must be able to attend numerous events including galas, breakfast, and after-hours.

Event Planning and Coordination:

  • Planned, organize, and execute events from start to finish, including conferences, workshops, seminars, fundraisers, and community outreach programs.
  • Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, catering, transportation, and accommodation.
  • Develop event schedules, timelines, and checklists to ensure all aspects are covered.
  • Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure the best terms.

Program Management:

  • Design and implement programs that align with the organization’s goals and mission.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to ensure successful program delivery.
  • Monitor program progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Collect and analyze feedback to continuously improve program quality.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage event and program budgets.
  • Track expenses and ensure events and programs are delivered within budget.
  • Provide financial reports and analysis as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and event management software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
