About The Role
Ogilvy New York is seeking an Event Manager, Influencer with a proven track record in event execution and management of influencer-facing events. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience in event planning, with a strong focus on influencer event marketing. This role requires a deep understanding of the influencer landscape, end-to-end campaign management, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to create memorable event experiences that resonate with influencers and their followers. This is a hybrid role in New York, NY.

About The Role

This role requires a deep understanding of the influencer landscape, end-to-end campaign management, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to create memorable event experiences that resonate with influencers and their followers. What You'll Do
Influencer Marketing:
- Manage end-to-end influencer campaigns including identification, contracting, management, and reporting.
- Assist with building strategy and creative concepts for influencer campaigns.
- Develop well-designed presentation decks using Keynote, PowerPoint, Canva, and Google Slides.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with influencers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for influencers before, during, and after events, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Identify and secure influencers for events, includes contracting and management.
- Gather and analyze campaign data and develop reporting documents.
- Plan, organize, and execute influencer-facing events from conception to completion, ensuring all aspects align with the overall marketing strategy.
- Source and manage vendors and conduct venue site visits with clients.
- Assist with developing the event strategy and creative.
- Develop visually engaging presentation decks outlining event creative concepts and strategic approaches.
- Coordinate venue selection, catering, entertainment, and logistics.
- Create compelling event collateral, including invitations, signage, and promotional materials.
- Create detailed project plans and timelines, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure all deadlines are met.
- Anticipate and mitigate potential risks or challenges that may arise during event planning and execution.
- Maintain comprehensive event documentation, including timelines, budgets, and vendor contracts.
- Coordinate travel logistics including UBER rides, hotel, and excursions.
- Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts with vendors, and ensure all expenses stay within budgetary constraints.
- Conduct post-event surveys and compile comprehensive wrap reports detailing final outcomes and results.
- 3-5 years of experience in influencer marketing and event coordination, preferably with a focus on influencer event marketing.
- Strong understanding of the influencer landscape, including knowledge of key influencers, trends, and audience demographics.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with influencers, vendors, agencies, agents, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Canva.
- Creative thinker with a passion for creating unique and memorable event experiences.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
- Strong deck-building skills with experience in using Canva, PowerPoint, and Keynote.
- Excellent vendor resources and relationships.
- Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and a genuine passion for both events and influencer marketing.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment; agency experience preferred.
