Needl have partnered with a B2B SaaS Startup to find a dynamic and experienced Event Marketing Manager to join their growing business.
The successful candidate will join the team as the first dedicated event marketing professional. This is a unique opportunity to own and grow the event marketing function from the ground up. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating impactful events that drive engagement, generate leads, and enhance brand presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development: Design and implement a comprehensive event marketing strategy that aligns with overall marketing and business objectives.
Event Planning and Execution: Plan, organize, and execute a variety of events, including webinars, trade shows, conferences, and networking events, both virtual and in-person.
Content Creation: Develop engaging promotional content for events, including email campaigns, social media posts, landing pages, and other marketing materials.
Partnership Management: Identify and collaborate with industry partners, sponsors, and influencers to enhance event reach and impact.
Budget Management: Manage event budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and maximizing return on investment (ROI).
Performance Analysis: Track, analyze, and report on event performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for future improvements.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure events align with company objectives and messaging.
Function Growth: Develop processes, best practices, and a team to scale the event marketing function as the company grows.
Qualifications:
Experience: 5+ years of experience in event marketing within a B2B SaaS or technology environment - preferably in a startup or scale up.
Leadership: Proven ability to take ownership of a function and grow it strategically, or the drive and know how to do so.
Skills: Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Creativity: Demonstrated ability to develop innovative and engaging event concepts.
Tech Savvy: Proficiency with event management and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Eventbrite).
Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with experience in measuring event success and making data-driven decisions.
Flexibility: Willingness to travel and work flexible hours to accommodate event schedules.
