Job Summary:

The Event Operations Manager will execute a variety of in-person and digital events. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of event technology platforms, CRMs, marketing automation tools, SharePoint, Wiki, Airtable and other marketing systems and technology. This role involves creating and maintaining process documents, playbooks, training modules, centralized communication and asset hubs, and program materials to maximize the scalability and efficiency of our event programs and ensure our people, processes and systems maintain accurate data to operate day to day.

Key Responsibilities:


1. Event Coordination:

  • Work with event program managers to help develop workback schedules and systems to ensure timely event planning and tracking.

2. Technology Management:

  • Utilize event technology platforms to assist event program managers manage registrations, virtual event execution, and post-event analytics.
  • Integrate and manage data within CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
  • Maintain and update SharePoint and Wiki pages related to event program and operations.

3. Process Improvement:

  • Develop, document, and implement standardized processes for event planning and execution.
  • Create training modules and materials to onboard new team members and support continuous learning.
  • Collaborate with the Event Operations Team to identify areas for process improvements and efficiencies.

4. Data Management:

  • Create a project management system in Airtable to track event details, budgets, and timelines for in person events.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all platforms.
  • Generate reports and insights to support decision-making and event evaluations.

5. Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and other cross-functional teams to align event objectives and strategies.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding event logistics and coordination.
  • Provide support during live events, including troubleshooting and real-time issue resolution.
  • Ensure weekly event comms are updated and organized with accurate registration and planning data.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in event coordination or a related role.
  • Proficiency in event technology platforms (e.g., ON24, Attendease, Splash, Cvent), CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, MSFT Dynamics), and marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot).
  • Experience with SharePoint, Wiki, and Airtable or related project management tool. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Design skills a plus!
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to adapt to a constantly evolving work environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in both in-person and virtual event coordination.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of best practices in event marketing and attendee engagement.
  • Must be a self-starter who can drive projects forward autonomously.


Salary: $85,000 annually
