Events and Partnerships Manager plays a pivotal role in providing strategy, planning and operational support for key marketplace and vertical trade shows. This role works closely with sales and creative and will oversee all facets of events, including planning and executing a calendar of shows to attend, staffing, event logistics and facilitation, reporting and lead email nurtures. Additionally, this position is responsible for managing paid media relationships with marketplaces and industry publications. The incumbent will be an organized, people-centric, analytical thinker who can apply their understanding of the business to marketplaces, industry publications and events in ways that deliver strong ROI.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact, owning the relationships with key marketplace partners and events, including Amazon, Walmart Fulfillment, Alibaba, Ali Express, Temu, Shein, TikTok and Shopify. Lead organization on all events and attend as the VEYER’s representative, acting as an ambassador for the brand with both customers and prospects, serving as a resource for fielding questions and problem solving.
  • Event strategy: Determine ideal schedule of shows & staffing for verticals \working cross-functionally with the Sales team, including, but not limited to: Sports & fitness equipment, nutrition/supplements, apparel, personal care/cosmetics. Own the creation and management and communication for the yearly events calendar.
  • Event Logistics & Facilitation: Develop and manage a task list associated with end-to-end event planning and preparation. Plan and facilitate logistics for all trade and consumer shows, including, contract negotiations, booth design and build, presentation and marketing materials, and other items as needed (security, entertainment, AV, transportation, accommodations). Manage third-party event organizer relationships (stand builders, event suppliers).
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, owning quotations, contracts, and invoices. Ensure event projects are executed on time and within budget by monitoring spend and effectively managing timelines. Report on final event spending and leads gathered, along with resulting lead status. Plan and execute follow-up strategy email nurture strategy with the creative and BDR teams.
  • Build and manage external marketplace and paid media relationships, including taking the lead on contract negotiations and execution requirements. Work cross-functionally with internal creative team to prepare all marketing assets required to support partnerships, creating thorough and effective creative briefs that strategically guide the messaging and visuals. Report on quality of leads generated, analyzing and optimizing per each channel.


Education and Experience:

  • Level of Formal Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Area of Study: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 6
  • Type of Experience:
  • Proven experience in event management, digital marketing, or related roles, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Strong understanding of fulfillment and marketplaces including Shopify, Amazon, Shein, Temu, TikTok, Instagram and others.
  • Technical Competencies & Information Systems: Proficiency in executing contracts, technical booth requirements, monitoring analytics through vendor portals, and MS Office Suite.
  • Skills & Abilities:
  • Ability to effectively forecast and maintain operating budgets.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership abilities with experience managing agencies and collaborating with creative teams.
  • Language Skills: Speaks effectively in individual and group situations; is an effective listener; writes clearly and convincingly; takes responsibility for facilitating information exchange among subordinates, peers, and managers.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

*Remote: While this position does not currently require relocation, candidates within a radius of our locations in Boca Raton, FL will be required to work in the office a minimum of two to three days a week.
