Description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a dedicated, well organized and customer-obsessed Executive Assistant to become part of our Worldwide Specialists Organization. This role will support two senior leaders within the org and requires superior attention to detail, great organization and prioritization skills, the ability to plan ahead and meet tight deadlines, all while juggling multiple critical requests. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is important. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to act as an extension of our leaders in partnership with a supportive and collaborative EA community.

The successful candidate will be customer-service oriented and possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little guidance. You’ll need to take effective action without having to know the total picture, and efficiently and proactively solve difficult or complex problems that affect people within the department or other related groups.

The successful candidate will also be highly responsive and have the ability to switch gears at a moment's notice reacting with appropriate urgency to situations. This role is responsible for arranging conferences and meetings, travel planning and creation of detailed itineraries, general office support functions, expense reports, and scheduling.

Key job responsibilities

  • Management of complex calendar and scheduling requirements, and prioritization of executive's tasks and appointments according to their importance, urgency, and relevance.
  • Act as a liaison for direct reports and business stakeholders
  • Tracking and helping drive completion of key deliverables and following up on outstanding items
  • Drive key team activities (such as staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, supply ordering)
  • Schedule extensive travel (international and domestic) and submit expense reports in a timely fashion.
  • Work alongside other executive assistants within the org and throughout AWS to drive best practices and cross collaboration of efficiencies

Basic Qualifications

  • * 2+ years of senior level leadership support experience
  • * Experience managing multiple executive level calendars
  • * Experience with domestic and international travel coordination

Preferred Qualifications

  • * 4+ years of senior level leadership support experience
  • * Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
  • * Experience managing multiple calendars
  • * Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
