The Blackhawk Group is seeking an Executive Project Manager to drive the success of our executive team in a pivotal role reporting directly to the CEO. In this high-impact position, you will manage executive communications, oversee strategic initiatives, and ensure follow-up on key actions. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment, who is eager to advance their career in the aerospace industry. Key Responsibilities

  • Communication: Manage internal and external communication activities to ensure efficient information flow and strategic messaging across the organization. This includes acting as a liaison between the CEO and internal stakeholders, drafting and editing key documents, presentations, and reports, and overseeing enterprise-wide communication efforts. You will also manage external communications, including strategic reviews, investor and board presentations, and executive communications to the press, while providing in-depth analysis of policy updates and industry trends.
  • Project Management: Support the development of a robust management operating system by accurately tracking the status of key initiatives, following up with internal leaders, and ensuring deadlines are met. This includes assisting in the preparation of meeting agendas, materials, and presentations, synthesizing notes, and managing and maintaining project documentation and records to report progress on various projects effectively.
  • Meeting Management: Organize and coordinate key meetings, including executive team meetings, board updates, and other important appointments, ensuring the CEO is well-prepared. You will also be responsible for scheduling, preparing, and distributing meeting agendas and minutes, and following up on meeting outcomes and action items to drive efficient decision-making.
  • Transformation and Change: Support the CEO and Leadership Team in driving a unified "One Blackhawk Group" culture by promoting a customer-centric mindset across the organization. You will manage the pipeline of growth projects, prioritize key opportunities, and implement practices to unify the organization across various sites. Additionally, you will identify and capitalize on opportunities to realize synergies from inorganic growth while driving the design and implementation of key process initiatives.

What You Bring To The Table

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communication, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of work experience, with strong project management skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of project management tools a plus.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
  • Experience in the Aviation industry is preferred but not required.
  • Candidate must live in Phoenix, AZ.
  • Up to 20% travel may be required for this position.
