Job Summary: As the Express Manager for our quick-service cannabis curbside dispensary, you will serve as the highest level of on-site leadership, responsible for managing all aspects of store operations, leading a team of employees, and collaborating with company leadership to ensure brand consistency and successful implementation of corporate initiatives. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences while upholding regulatory compliance and company standards.


Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all aspects of store operations, including staffing, scheduling, operations, sales performance, and customer service.

2. Lead, develop and motivate a team of Express Associates and Express Leads to achieve operational excellence and sales targets.

3. Drive sales growth, increase customer retention, and enhance brand loyalty.

4. Collaborate with company and department leaders to ensure alignment with company goals, brand standards, and marketing initiatives.

5. Work with leadership to maintain oversight of inventory levels, product selection, and pricing strategies to optimize profitability and customer satisfaction.

6. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to cannabis sales.

7. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

8. Conduct regular staff meetings, performance evaluations, and training sessions to foster a high-performing team.

9. Enforce safety protocols, sanitation standards, and operational procedures to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff.

10. Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to make informed business decisions.

11. Prepare and present reports, budgets, and forecasts to department leadership.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field preferred.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role, preferably in the cannabis industry, retail, or similar fast-paced field.

• Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills with a proven track record of driving business results.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.

• Comprehensive knowledge of cannabis products, regulations, compliance requirements, and industry trends a plus, but not required.

• Proficiency in using POS systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office suite.

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Must be 21 years of age or older and eligible to work in Ontonagon, MI.
