In our F-35 Training & Logistics market segment, part of the Training and Logistics Solutions (TLS) line of business, we're dedicated to ensuring that F-35 pilots and maintainers are combat-ready through superior training systems and support.

THE WORK

As the Director of F-35 Training Sustainment, you will lead a portfolio of programs that sustain and produce F-35 Training Systems products. This role encompasses overseeing instructor-led training, production of Full Mission Simulators (FMSims), and security services across the global F-35 enterprise. Your primary focus will be ensuring the fielded training products maintain a 90% full mission capable rate and a 99% availability rate. Additionally, you'll be responsible for producing all F-35 Training Devices, ensuring they meet the rigorous standards required for combat readiness.

The Position Is Responsible For:

  • Cost, schedule and technical performance of the F-35 Training Sustainment and Production portfolio.
  • Acting as primary F-35 training sustainment and Production interface with LM Aeronautics, NGC, BAE, LMGI, and F-35 JPO.
  • Overseeing program execution of F-35 Training sustainment, instructor lead training and security services at F-35 sites across the globe
  • Driving the F-35 Training sustainment portfolio to ensure affordability and cost reductions are achieved
  • Oversee program execution of the production of training devices for the F-35 Enterprise.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $180,000 - $300,000 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
