Field Engineer to perform depot level repairs, modifications, refurbishments of specific components of the Modernized Target Designation Sight/Pilotage Night Vision System (M-TADS/M-PNVS).
The candidate must be willing to take on both the depot and Contractor Furnished Service Representative (CFSR) roles. For the CFSR role, candidate may be required to support international, domestic, or deployment flight line operations. The CFSR role may require the candidate to serve up to a maximum of 24 months, performing flight line maintenance and support.

The candidate will
Perform repair, rework, fault isolation, troubleshooting, and acceptance test of mechanical, electrical, structural, optical subsystems and complete systems.
Operate automated or general-purpose test equipment (oscilloscopes, multi-meters, network analyzers and waveform generators) and uses knowledge of basic electronic and optical theory to read, interpret engineering drawings and schematics to conduct fault isolation of defective components.
Utilize precision measuring equipment to verify compliance to engineering specifications and tolerances
Complete work IAW engineering drawings, schematics, Repair Center Procedures (RCPs), Field Advisory Bulletins (FABs), and Contactor Installation Procedures (CIPs)
Document work in automated maintenance data collection systems IAW Apache Fire Control processes and procedures
Provide technical feedback on electro-mechanical and elctro-optical components to promote reliability improvements
Work with hazardous materials and chemicals, utilizing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
