Healogics interns will provide support in business operations through research, analyzing business procedures in multiple departments, proposing new strategies for growth, participating in important projects, developing project plans, and delivering presentations to management as assigned. The Healogics Summer Internship Program runs from June – August and offers internships in Human Resources, Compliance, Finance, Development, IT, Legal, Medical Affairs, Operations, Marketing, and Development.
All Healogics employees must perform their job responsibilities according to all Healogics policies, Hospital policies, as well as to accrediting organizations, federal and state regulation, and to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines, as applicable.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Provide administrative support through creating/maintaining documents and data analysis
Communicate with different departments within the company in a professional manner
Perform various tasks to support functions within the department
Design and draft research materials for quantitative projects
Create spreadsheets, charts, and graphics for data presentation
Research diverse healthcare topics in relation to functional area
Collaborate with departmental team members and provide support as required
Handle sensitive or confidential information appropriately
Attend company functions and events as needed
Participate in scheduled learning sessions to develop additional knowledge of the business and skillsets
Perform other duties as required
Required Education, Experience And Credentials
In order to meet the eligibility criteria for the Healogics Internship Program, the student must meet the following requirements:
Must be a full-time student as defined by an academic institution (12 credit hours or more per semester)
Student must have successfully completed a minimum of 24 credit hours toward a degree program by the start of the internship
At least a 2.8 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale
