Finance Manager, Program Planning & Control Scheduling (Hybrid)

Job Description An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated individual within the Navigation and Sensor Systems (NSS) Product Line within the Precision Strike & Sensing Solutions (PS3) Business Area. The candidate will manage a team of Integrated Program Planning & Control (IPP&C) Schedule Analysts responsible for preparation, development, and management of the Integrated Master Plans (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) to meet program objectives.

This role includes Earned Value Management and oversight of Performance Measurement Baselines (PMB), ensuring proposal and program schedules are fully compliant with industry requirements, IPP&C software management and support/liaison to ESS-IT. The candidate will be expected to provide leadership, expertise, and guidance to functional managers, program leadership, and members of the IPP&C Scheduling team.

This role will be performed in a

hybrid remote format
, with the individual splitting their time between our offices in Cedar Rapids, IA, and working remotely. To be considered for this opportunity,

Responsibilities Include


  • IPP&C Scheduling team leader coordinating team meetings and performance reviews
  • Supporting Program Planning and Execution Reviews
  • Providing guidance and training to IPP&C Scheduling team driving best practices
  • Reporting program schedule performance to management and serving as an expert for the function
  • Management of NSS Earned Value System Description
  • Management of IPP&C Software, both Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and company developed
  • Seeking out projects to continually improve processes


Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Operations, Technical field of study, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar applicable discipline plus 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management
  • Experience in program execution and risk management
  • Ability to communicate and present data to various functions and varying levels of Management
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, in particular, Project, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Effective communications skills
  • Ability to work with diverse work teams


Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience working in MS Project COTS tools such as OnePager Pro, forProject-DCMA Analyzer, and Barbecana Full Monte Schedule Risk
  • Experience with Government and DCMA program support
  • Prior Scheduling experience


Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $102800 - $174800

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
