Role

Rogo's financial AI strategists are ex-bankers and investors from top-tier financial institutions who leverage their experience to guide and partner with investment banks, hedge funds, and private equity firms. Your role is pivotal in helping firms understand AI's specific day-to-day use cases and longer-term potential, partnering with both the sales and post-sales teams.

You will own client engagements pre-sale through up-sell, building consultative relationships with investment banks, hedge funds, and private equity firms to help steer AI strategy.

Similar to how Solutions Architects secure the “technical win” in the sales process, Financial AI strategists secure the “financial win” by performing in-depth customer discovery and education on Rogo's solutions through targeted meetings and demos that resonate with the customer’s day-to-day workflows.

Our financial AI strategists use their financial service expertise to ask thoughtful questions to understand the needs of firms, develop credibility, and then partner and then educate them on Rogo's value via large and small group sessions as well as one-to-one conversations.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with bankers/investors at existing and prospective customers to understand and address their workflow challenges, and then explain and demonstrate the value of Rogo's AI solutions to address them.
  • Establish yourself as a credible expert in solving customers’ specific problems (e.g., public company financial research, M&A advisory, company diligence workflows).
  • Lead product demonstrations tailored to the context of various financial firms, asking questions to validate how Rogo can add value and then showcasing Rogo's features and benefits relevant to each prospective client’s potential use cases.
  • Partner with the marketing team to develop content that will resonate with bankers/investors, tailored to the unique needs of their practice areas and client types.
  • Act as the “Voice of the Customer,” using your industry perspective to help the broader sales team to develop and implement more effective strategies and synthesize customer feedback for the product team through a financial services lens.
  • Tailor the introduction of new solutions to specific customer needs.
  • Further the market perception of Rogo as uniquely credible, substantive, and helpful in applying its AI solutions to make bankers/investors better at their jobs.
  • Conduct research and analysis on customers and competitors.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of front-office experience at a top-tier investment bank, private equity firm, consulting firm, or hedge fund
  • Executive engagement skills and presence, with an ability to establish strong relationships with key decision-makers and build credibility at all levels.
  • Outstanding presentation skills, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos.
  • Curiosity about AI’s potential to transform financial services.
  • Sales or LP-facing experience, including business development and/or experience directly managing banking client matters and client relationships.
