Financial Analyst - Alternative Investments - $100k-$120k base plus bonus
A well-established alternative investment firm is seeking an experienced financial planning and analysis professional to join their FP&A team as a Financial Analyst. This role will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operational analysis, building of models, tracking and forecasts of assets under management, and providing monthly financial performance reports. This role will report directly to the Head of FP&A. This is a hybrid opportunity.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Implementation and maintenance of Workday Adaptive Planning software
Identify automation opportunities in financial reporting
Perform operational analysis, build/maintain operational models to analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators
Provide monthly financial forecasts and financial reporting with accurate and timely information
Track and forecast assets under management for multiple product lines and the associated revenue
Analyze expense trends and update forecasts accordingly
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field
2-4 years of relevant FP&A experience working with multiple business lines
Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative is a MUST
Mastery of Microsoft Excel, experience with Microsoft PowerPoint
Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, Oracle Hyperion Planning, NetSuite Planning and Budgeting, and/or other similar planning software a plus
