Financial Analyst

ESC's premier client is seeking a dynamic, organized self-starter to join their Finance department as a Financial Analyst in their Seller Support Center. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated Finance Professional with a strong desire to exceed expectations in a high-energy, entrepreneurial environment. The role will have you providing financial and business analysis to site leaders and business partners and assisting internal customer groups and the controller in all finance and accounting matters, including budgeting, forecasting, expense tracking, and control. This position is reporting 3 days a week in Bellevue, WA.

Responsibilities

• Assist internal customer groups and the controller in all finance and accounting matters, including budgeting, forecasting, expense tracking, and control.
• Collaborate with functional leaders and finance partners to develop scalable financial processes and business metrics.
• Provide financial and business analysis to site leaders and business partners, including recommendations for cost savings and process improvements.
• Participate in the strategic operational planning process, addressing identified risks and opportunities for the business team.
• Write system queries to gather financial data and perform data mining and analysis using tools such as Advanced MS Excel, Cognos/Essbase, Python, Tableau, and SQL.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant finance experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including both written and oral communication.
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem-solving.
• Experience with Cognos, Python, Tableau/Power BI, and SQL is highly desirable.
• Comfort with large volumes of complex data and the ability to present findings to senior management.
