Overview

We are looking for a talented Finance Analyst to join our dynamic team! In this role you will manage the financial accounting and reporting function for our Marketing and Communications Agency, Delightful Communications, and support the business and leadership team in other key processes for forecasting, business analysis & insights, and maintaining accurate books and records in compliance with accounting standard, while continually looking for ways for further improvement and enhancement.

The Finance Analyst is core to our central operations and strong partnership with business leads and other members of company Finance department is essential.

What You’ll Do

Partner with Director of Client Services and Delightful Communications (DC) Leads to perform the business essential Client Billing function, ensuring that Invoices are properly submitted and approved in Client Portals and paid within terms.

Help manage the Company expenses by tracking and recording Vendor & Contractor Invoices in Quickbooks Online. Obtain approval as necessary and execute payments within the agreed terms.Provide management with monthly expense tracking against current budget/forecast.

Overall maintenance and update of the Company General Ledger (including entries for Payroll) system to ensure accuracy, including month end account reconciliation to Bank Accounts.

Provide monthly Financial Statements to DC Executive Leadership, incorporating in-depth analysis on variances to budget and prior year for Revenue and Operating expenses.

Submit required reports/filings to external parties (i.e. Bank, WA Department of Revenue)

Play a strategic role by directly engaging with DC business partners in updating the Revenue and Financial (P&L) Forecast.

Ad Hoc analysis as needed for new revenue/Client opportunities, change in business policies or other proposed strategic changes.

What You Have

BA/BS Degree, preferably in Finance

2+ years of experience in a Finance role, knowledge of QuickBooks Accounting software a plus

Strong team player that can work independently as well.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks at once, maintaining focus and drive to completion and attention to detail.

Sense of urgency and initiative in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated knowledge and comfort with technology and software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, internal messaging systems, and any other business-related tools.

Strong communication skills, both oral and written, and demonstrated experience in presentation to a broader audience.
