Financial Controller

We are seeking a Controller to manage and improve businesses processes across finance, accounting, tax, treasury, and HR for our client, a rapidly growing PE backed SaaS company. The Controller reports to the VP of Finance and will have the opportunity for career advancement within the company.

The Controller is a full-time, direct hire position requiring onsite work at least 4 days a week at the company’s office in Morrisville, NC. The position offers competitive salary and benefits including comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plan options, 401(k), FSA, HSA, and paid life and disability insurance. There are no C2C or sponsorship opportunities available for this position.

Responsibilities of the Controller:

• Production of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for executive management, board, and investors
• Financial operations, including AP, AR, cash, invoicing/billing, collections, sales tax, etc.
• Aspects of HR operations, including payroll and benefits renewals
• Annual audit and income tax returns
• Consolidation of books for any acquired entities
• Cross-functional support when needed including: SaaS contract renewals, payments operations and risk, etc.
• Opportunity to become involved with the production of KPIs, modeling, and budgeting as appropriate

Requirements for the Controller:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years’ experience in financial operations and/or public accounting
• CPA desired
• Proficient in Quickbooks and Excel
• Experience in PE-backed SaaS business preferred
• Willingness to “roll up sleeves” and help wherever necessary
• Resourcefulness to address new problems and scale abilities
