Financial Reporting Accountant

We are seeking a skilled and motivated SEC Reporting Accountant to join our team in Yulee, FL. This role offers a hybrid work schedule, with 3 days in the office per week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and filing SEC reports, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, and supporting internal and external financial reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accountant who has knowledge of SEC reporting, GAAP, and financial analysis. MUST HAVE A BACHELORS DEGREE IN ACCOUNTING

salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and file SEC reports, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, and other regulatory filings.
• Ensure compliance with SEC and GAAP regulations, keeping up-to-date with changes in accounting standards.
• Assist in preparing footnotes and other disclosures for quarterly and annual filings.
• Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to gather necessary financial information and supporting documentation.
• Support the preparation of press releases and earnings releases in conjunction with quarterly and annual filings.
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and quarterly reviews.
• Assist in developing and maintaining internal controls over financial reporting.
• Perform technical accounting research to ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses as requested by management.
