Your team
You will be working in the Global Equities team in London, Chicago or New York. The Global Equities Team uses fundamental, bottom-up analysis to identify attractive investment candidates across the Global equity market with the goal of delivering sustainable, long term alpha generation to the USD 22 billion of AUM, and in addition to recommending financial ideas for the total book of business, the line manager is specifically responsible for Future Finance Leaders, a recently seeded long-only Financials sector equity strategy, and Global Equity Long Short, a fast growing long short strategy with 11 year track record.

- support the Senior Investment Analyst and Portfolio Manager responsible for covering Financials, while learning how to invest in public equities
- conduct original fundamental analysis and company valuation work
- develop logical, comprehensive frameworks for the ongoing assessment of industry and company fundamentals
- articulate investment ideas in a clear and concise manner
- develop new and improve existing tools used within the investment process
- New York: the salary range for this role is $100000 to $135000
Your team

Your expertise
- 2-5 years relevant experience analysing Financial companies (banks, insurance, asset management, financial exchanges)
- demonstrated passion for investing
- undergraduate degree or post-graduate qualifications from a top university
- strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills
- strong knowledge of financial statement analysis and modelling; CFA optional
- intellectually curious, detail-oriented and willing to "get into the weeds" in order to develop unique, actionable investment ideas
- flexible, resilient team player, with a positive attitude
- self-starter who is an independent thinker (and comfortable taking a non-consensus view), intellectually honest, and able to challenge the status quo in a constructive manner
- excellent communicator, with strong interpersonal skills
