Position Title: Fleet Manager
Position Summary
The US Fleet Manager will oversee day to day vehicle acquisition, maintenance, insurance repairs and claims, driver training, audits, data entry and analysis, GPS tracking, and driver trailing, as well as providing assistance and support for internal operations.
Essential Functions
Associate’s degree (A.A) and 5 or more years of experience in all types of Fleet Management along with data entry, spreadsheets, and running daily reports. Experience in a fast-paced environment. Good verbal communication skills by phone. Must have clean background and a valid Driver’s License is required.
Physical Requirements
Must occasionally lift and or/move up to 10 pounds. Regularly required to sit, talk, or listen; occasionally required to stand. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Position Summary

Essential Functions
- Manages all aspects of the fleet process (Purchasing, procedures, policies and compliance)
- Establish and maintain all fleet vendors (fuel cards, GPS devices, insurance, maintenance)
- Establish agreements with fleet management companies and auto manufacturers to secure vehicles for the company
- Establish and manage national accounts for preventative maintenance programs
- Create and maintain company policies to ensure fleet safety for all drivers
- Establish driver training programs for all field drivers
- Conducting and managing all MVR checks of company drivers
- Work with Heavy fleet manager to establish and maintain commercial accounts and to ensure compliance for heavy fleet in accordance with FMCSA (DOT) requirements
- Perform all fleet training for both internal and field employees.
- Oversee the scheduling and set up new vehicles, GPS installs and removals, and turn in of old vehicles.
- Manage all insurance claims to company vehicles
- Establish and monitor driver training program for all field drivers
- Acquire data by running reports such as GPS tracking and speed reports for multiple departments
- Import/enter data into Excel spreadsheets to track driver safety and training
- Accurately process vendor contracts, invoices and requisitions in finance software system
- Observe all Health, safety, and security procedures. Reports potentially unsafe conditions
- Oversee all monthly invoices and distributing them to Finance for payment
- Experience with vehicle purchasing
- Must have experience with trending and charting
- Must have strong analytical skills, the ability to collect, organize and analyze information with detail and accuracy
- Experience with managing personnel
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedural, operating, and maintenance
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Good working knowledge of FMCSA (DOT/OSHA) regulations
- General knowledge of various type of vehicles and equipment used in the automotive and building trades
- Capacity for listening, dealing with confrontation, and overcoming objections.
- Should possess good reading skills and have a clear speaking voice with a customer-centric mentality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Works with a team and contributes to a positive environment
- Approaches others in a tactful manner; Reacts well under pressure; accepts and adapts to frequent change.
- Adheres to work schedule.
- Works with integrity and ethically; supports organization’s culture, goals, and values
