Role Overview & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Transportation, the Fleet Supervisor is responsible for the daily execution of asset fleet operations, including administration and compliance functions. The Fleet Supervisor works with the account team, drivers, and site managers in proactively servicing multiple accounts, increasing profitable revenue, and providing tactical execution of fleet operations.
Perform operational execution of asset-based fleet department: pricing, vendor negotiations, dispatching, preventative maintenance, load planning, problem solving, and cost control.
Ensure compliance with all DOT and other regulatory agency rules and regulations.
Recruit, hire, and onboard fleet personnel.
Complete or coordinate ad-hoc analyses as required.
Oversee completion of planned loads and fleet operations.
Successfully achieve logistics, KPIs, and customer requirements.
Collaborate on business reviews and other customer meetings.
Complete customer requests and pricing proposals.
All other duties assigned to support and improve the overall Transportation team.
What You'll Need
2+ years of experience in transportation.
Valid Driver’s License.
Bachelor’s Degree (4-year college or technical school), preferred.
