Job Summary

Reporting to the Vice President of Franchise Development, the Franchise Development Manager will play a critical role in executing on our franchise growth strategy. You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential franchisees. In this role you will build rapport with these identified candidates and lead them through the mutual evaluation process, from start to finish. The ideal candidate for this role is a results-driven, self-starter with a proven track record of success in franchise development or sales. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as an understanding of the franchise industry.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Help advance the development, growth, and implementation of new sales strategies
  • Present our franchise opportunity with enthusiasm and be able to answer in-depth business related questions
  • Qualify and screen potential franchisees to ensure they meet our standards and requirements
  • Map trade areas for potential franchisees
  • Negotiate franchise agreements and coordinate the onboarding process for new franchisees
  • Collaborate with existing Scenthound Franchise Partners and our operations team on territory alignment and expansion
  • Work directly with Scenthound Franchise Partners and staff on company initiatives
  • Travel as required to assigned trade shows, Scenter visits, and future events
  • Responsible for records management for each franchise candidate as well as completing required KPI reports to accurately maintain projections for the team
  • Ensure compliance with franchise regulations and guidelines
  • Other duties as required


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • 1+ year(s) of franchise sales experience
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close, with a history of meeting and exceeding targets
  • Organized attention to detail
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with prospects, franchisees, vendors, and other stakeholders
  • Experience utilizing a CRM (Zoho) and Office 360 apps
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
