Fraud Controls Analyst

Our Enterprise FinTech Client (nonbanking) is seeking a highly skilled Test & Controls Analyst specializing in fraud and debit card disputes. This role involves creating, editing, approving, testing, and maintaining fraud and disputes control processes to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audit/QA roles, excellent technical writing and communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a high-stress environment.


Required Skills:

  • 2+ years in an audit/QA role related to fraud and debit card disputes
  • Strong knowledge of Regulation E and Funds Availability Act
  • Technical writing and communication
  • Organizational skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-management in high-stress environments


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate within the line of business to understand each area’s operations and associated rules and regulations.
  • Perform independent and thorough research/testing to ensure each control functions as expected.
  • Create routines to escalate and clearly articulate identified issues.
  • Provide objective, professional communication to all levels of management to facilitate continuous improvement.


Required Certifications/Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
  • Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or similar (optional but preferred)
