Dark Burn Creative, a division of Trailer Park Group (TPG) is one of gaming's most prominent and growing entertainment marketing agencies, specializing in global content creation, trailers/promotions, and gameplay capture. We combine our creative storytelling expertise with large-scale production resources, uniquely positioning us to create, market, and distribute gaming content for our diverse client portfolio of top gaming development companies and major brands.

The Freelance Associate Producer will help plan and manage editorial, gameplay capture and finishing resources for assigned assets - from inception, changes during creative process to completion. This position will interface with multiple internal and external creative directors, producers, editors, capture directors, graphic artists and finishing managers. You will partner with internal Capture Directors, Producers, and Production Coordinators to manage the day-to-day asset needs.

NOTE: THIS FREELANCE ROLE REQUIRES FULL-TIME, ON-SITE EMPLOYMENT AT OUR WOODLAND HILLS, CALIFORNIA LOCATION.

What you will do:

  • Creates and maintains production schedules and anticipates future needs.
  • Follows standard practices and procedures when assisting producer.
  • Builds stable working relationships internally and externally.
  • Understands the complexity of tracking budgets and schedules.
  • Communicates regularly with creative directors, producers, editors, capture directors and finishing managers on the status of all jobs in progress in creative / production, based on input from project teams.
  • Tracking creative notes and changes.
  • Receive and propagate client provided assets.
  • Proactively monitors the status of active projects; can act swiftly and re-direct resources as needed.
  • Works closely with finishing team to ensure smooth transition from creative to final product for each project.


What you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., film, multimedia production, or communications) or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years in a Production Coordinator role is a must. Gameplay trailers preferred.
  • Must be a motivated and a self-starter.
  • Creative vendor or studio experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Team, Slack, Airtable
  • Previous post-production (marketing) experience a plus.
  • Ability to articulate clear feedback (written and verbal) and ask the right questions for context in feedback.
  • Open & honest proactive approach in communication with the ability to ask difficult questions.
  • Ability to communicate and drive conversations with people at all levels.
  • Strong listening skills!


3 MONTHS. MUST BE OPEN TO WORKING A FLEXIBLE/SWING SHIFT SCHEDULE.

COMPENSATION:

Please note that the below range is payable via day rate (not hourly). Also note that all freelance work is paid via W2 payroll at Trailer Park Group.

Daily rate pay range for this position is below. If your requirements fall outside of the below pay range, we still encourage you to apply.

$280—$280 USD
