Position Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Photo Producer to join our dynamic team in a freelance capacity. The Photo Producer will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of photoshoot production from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality visual content that aligns with our brand's aesthetic and objectives. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects, people and logistics simultaneously.


To be considered, you MUST have production experience with babies and children and understand the rules, regulations, and safety considerations when working with little ones on set. You also must come with a rolodex of talented creatives and casting agencies to work with.


Responsibilities


- Own, coordinate and manage all aspects of photoshoot production end-to-end including:


  • Pre-Production: Concept development, apparel/photoshoot sample selection and ordering, budgeting, scheduling, shot lists, vendor sourcing/management, casting, location logistics. Organize and manage pre-production fit sessions with baby/child talent, stylists, tailors to ensure flawless fit and styling for shoot.
  • Production: Develop production schedule with strict adherence to baby and child on-set rules and regulations. Organize and oversee every aspect of production with flawless attention to detail and safety. Run a tight on-set ship!
  • Post-Production: Manage post-production processes including image selection with client, retouching, and final delivery of assets on time and in correct required formats


- Problem-solve and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during pre, on set and post-production, offering timely and effective solutions.


- Develop and manage budgets. Ensure productions do not go over budget. Manage invoice/payment process with client’s finance team.


- There is no photo team on staff. Producer will source and negotiate all external vendors and suppliers needed. Photo producer will assemble and work closely with sourced creative team to ensure all project requirements are met with excellence and work with client team on direction and approvals. You will source and manage:


  • [Client—marketing, fashion design, technical design/fit teams]
  • Art directors and art director assistants
  • Photographers and photo teams
  • Set designers and prop stylists
  • Wardrobe stylists
  • Tailors for fittings
  • Casting agencies
  • Studios/locations
  • Retouchers
  • Baby/Child wranglers
  • On set nurses
  • Hair and make-up teams
  • Catering
  • On set videographers and video editors (capture video on set during photoshoots)


Qualifications:

  • 7+ years in photography production. Proven experience as a Photo Producer or similar role in a creative or advertising agency, fashion brand, or related industry.
  • MUST have experience in kids production with babies and toddlers to ensure safe and enjoyable production experience and 100% compliance with on set rules and regulations.
  • In-house or freelance experience with apparel direct to consumer/ecommerce companies a plus.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels.
  • Proficiency in budget management and cost control.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
