The primary purpose of this role is to assist in the daily management of photo retouching for on-model and off-model product for Spirit Halloween. The candidate should have extensive knowledge in retouching using Adobe Photoshop, have a strong eye for color, understand the printing process, understand working color spaces, experience in the fashion industry, and have experience retouching infants and toddlers. This is a freelance position.

Responsibilities:

• Developing a sense of the Spirit Halloween brand and how it relates to retouching product to deliver the brand message.
• Making retouching notes on models and product shots that convey clear instructions to a roster of retouch artists.
• Working closely with the Product Development team to ensure photography on packaging conveys what the product looks and feels like.
• Supporting the Image Production Manager in creating decks for review, finding photo selects to build photo edit requests, managing files, managing photo approvals and managing vendors.
• Working closely with Production Managers to ensure packaging photography is retouched and available on time for packaging mechanical release to vendors.
• Needs a strong sense of fashion and how items should fit to assure product looks its best.
• Must be able to ensure distinct quality of fabrics are captured.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of experience in retouching models, fashion, infants or related field.
• Must be expert level in Adobe Photoshop.
• Knowledge of Excel.
• Working knowledge of printing, color separations, and color spaces (CMYK, RGB, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail fused with great multi-tasking ability.
• Ability to learn and work in proprietary software that manages timelines.
• Ability to manage responsibilities and stay organized in a very high volume, ever-changing, deadline driven environment.
• Personal organization skills to handle busy daily workload.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong collaboration skills to partner with cross-functional teams.
• Have a sense of urgency with critical deadlines, and the ability to quickly reprioritize accordingly.
