Freelance Print Apparel Designer

We are seeking a talented and creative Print Designer to join our RTW Design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for print and pattern design, a keen eye for detail. The Freelance Apparel Print Designer will work closely with the Sr. Designer to develop a wide range of print designs, ensuring they align with our brand guidelines and meet the highest standards of quality.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of fashion graphic/print design experience
• Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills, with a proven capacity to prioritize and perform time-sensitive tasks
• Strong understanding of design, proportion, and color theory
• Must be extremely detail-oriented, and be able to think strategically about both short and long-term solutions
• Possesses superior problem-solving, collaborative, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently as well within the team
• Excellent communicator who can effectively share creative insights across all the company's teams while reporting regularly to executive and senior management
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience)
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (PS, AI, ID, AE, and PR), Google Slides, Google Sheets, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Excel
• A portfolio presentation is expected; include the URL to the portfolio website

Responsibilities

• Retrofete is looking for a temp-to-perm entry-level, junior in-house fashion graphic/print designer to be responsible for the development and execution of print /graphic design for fashion design items
• The Junior Graphic/print Designer will be responsible for resolving a wide range of design challenges revolving around fashion print design
• The Junior Designer must also be able to work in a fast-paced environment, quickly and efficiently developing best practices for the position
• Reporting to the head designer, the Junior Designer is a key member of the design team, working across all parts of the company; including design and production of the product
