Role Description

This is a contract remote role for a Freight Broker. The Freight Broker will be responsible for coordinating shipments between shippers and carriers, negotiating rates, tracking shipments, and ensuring on-time delivery. They will also be required to maintain relationships with clients and carriers, resolve any issues that may arise during transit, and ensure compliance with transportation regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and logistics
• Proficiency in relevant software and platforms for tracking shipments
• Experience in the freight brokerage industry is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
