Position Overview:

My client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced FTL/LTL/DRAYAGE Freight Broker to join their team in a remote capacity. As an integral part of the sales force, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth and expanding your customer base in the logistics industry.

Responsibilities:

Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:

• Identify and acquire new clients by understanding their shipping needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Carrier Network Development:

• Establish and expand a reliable network of carriers to meet the diverse transportation requirements of our clients.
• Negotiate and secure favourable rates and terms with carriers.

Freight Matching and Booking:

• Effectively match available carriers with shipping requests to optimize load planning.
• Coordinate and book freight shipments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery

Sales Presentations and Proposals:

• Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations to showcase our FTL and LTL capabilities.
• Prepare and present detailed proposals, addressing client needs and demonstrating the value of our services.

Negotiation and Contract Management:

• Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to secure profitable contracts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful execution of contracts and fulfillment of client expectations.

Market Analysis:

• Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and market dynamics.
• Provide regular feedback to the leadership team on market conditions and potential areas for business expansion.

Sales Reporting:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions using CRM tools.
• Generate regular reports to track sales performance and contribute to strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record of success in FTL and LTL sales within the logistics industry.
• Strong understanding of supply chain management and logistics processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Results-oriented with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and other sales tools.
