Are you a motivated, results-driven individual with a passion for the logistics industry? We're looking for a highly driven Freight Broker with their own book of business to join our team. In this role, you'll be pivotal in securing new clients, negotiating competitive rates with carriers, and managing the logistics of freight shipments.
What You'll Do
Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong connections with shippers and carriers.
Drive Growth: Source new client leads and turn them into profitable partnerships.
Negotiate Rates: Secure the most competitive rates for freight shipments.
Manage Shipments: Oversee the entire shipment lifecycle, from quote generation to delivery.
Provide Updates: Track shipments in real-time and keep clients informed.
Handle Paperwork: Manage all necessary documentation and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Innovate: Identify and implement cost-saving solutions for clients.
What We're Looking For
Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in freight brokerage or a related logistics field (flexible for the right candidate).
Sales Success: Proven track record of success in sales and exceeding targets.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to tackle challenges effectively.
Self-Motivation: A self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
