Frontend Engineer

You will be part of the Visual Services team. The VS team is building the next-generation platform that collects, stores, and provides real-time access to large amounts of data to drive better trading and operational performance at Swish.

You will be part of the Visual Services team. The VS team is building the next-generation platform that collects, stores, and provides real-time access to large amounts of data to drive better trading and operational performance at Swish.
Tasks
- Bring your innovation and experience in designing and developing the next-generation data analytics platform using cutting-edge technologies.
- Standardize processes for the complete development cycle including design, implementation, unit testing, code review, testing automation, etc.
- Research and adopt the right technologies to improve the scalability and productivity of the trading analytics group.
- Work closely with key stakeholders and product owners to drive technical design for requirements of various use cases.
- Coordinate with departments (DE, DevOps, Product, Finance, DS, etc.) to ensure a smooth cycle from development to deployment.
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar field.
- Minimum of 4+ years of software development experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of production experience in backend Restful API development (experience with Django, Flask, Pyramid, or another RESTful development framework is desirable.)
- Expert-level front-end software development skills with JavaScript, ReactJS, NodeJS.
- Ability to drive projects end to end.
- Ability to produce high-quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration.
- Solid background in complicated SQL & data analytics. Experience with SQL time series analytical queries, window functions, data modeling, and SQL query optimization is desirable.
