Description:

An ideal candidate has experience building products across the stack and a broad understanding of web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple back-end languages. The full stack engineer will join a small team that focused on solving challenges for both the front-end and back-end architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Lead features "end to end" from product requirements to production.
• Participate in our Agile, delivery-focused development process.
• Be part of a startup company, help to set priorities and make design decisions.
• Evolve our engineering and architecture to support the ever-growing scale of users, features, and data.
• Design solutions for complex use-cases for real-world customer needs.
  
  

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software development across the web stack
• Solid understanding of software development across the web stack
• Knowledge of on-premise and cloud web infrastructure
• Object Oriented Programming (Java preferred)
• Frontend MVC frameworks (Angular, React.js, Vue.js)
• RESTful web services
• SQL databases (MySQL)
• NoSQL and Big Data – advantage
• Passion for clean, performant, scalable and secure code
• Proactive problem-solver and self-learner
• Ability to work in agile, fast-paced environments with frequent releases
• Mentoring of other team members on technical and SDLC skills
  
  

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience in relevant technologies
• Professional demeanor, reflected in excellent oral and written communications. Ability to effectively communicate technical information to a wide variety of stakeholders, including non-technical users.
• Ability to manage time effectively and with demonstrable sense of urgency.
• Experience with Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).
