In Your First 30 Days
- Dive into our existing tech stack and familiarize yourself with our codebase and products under the guidance of our CTO
- Begin writing backend code and tackling small tasks to get up to speed
- Participate in team meetings to gain insights into our people analytics product
- Take on more significant tasks and actively contribute to product development
- Lead the software development lifecycle for the features you're responsible for, from ideation to release
- Collaborate with our team to prioritize feature development and address any bugs
- Identify opportunities to enhance our customer experience and drive key business metrics through new feature development
- Strike a balance between short-term business goals and long-term architectural decisions and tech debt management
- Assume greater responsibility for shaping our engineering practices and processes
- You thrive in autonomous work environments and excel at transforming ambiguous requirements into robust solutions
- You're energized by the prospect of building a rapidly growing startup from the ground up
- Your innate curiosity drives you to continuously learn and grow
- You're passionate about addressing the challenges in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion landscape
- You bring at least 3 years of backend engineering experience to the table, with bonus points if you've worked in early-stage startups
