Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist/Insurance Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for helping patients with their dental care needs. This dual role involves managing front desk operations and handling insurance coordination, ensuring our patients receive the best service possible.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
Verify patient insurance information and coverage.
Submit and follow up on insurance claims.
Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed.
Assist with billing and collections.
Ensure the front office is organized and running smoothly.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in dental administration is a plus.
2 years of previous experience as a dental receptionist or insurance coordinator is required.
Proficient in dental practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Detail-oriented and capable of handling sensitive patient information with confidentiality.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
