Full-time School Psychologist - Remote | WFH

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist for a full-time hybrid position during the 2024-2025 school year in Virginia. This role offers a dynamic work environment with both in-person and remote work flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments to determine students' needs and eligibility for special education services.

Perform classroom observations to identify behavioral and learning issues.

Develop and implement intervention strategies to support students' academic, social, and emotional development.

Collaborate with educators, parents, and school personnel to foster a supportive learning environment.

Provide individual and group counseling sessions for students as necessary.

Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Offer consultation services to educators and parents on various topics such as classroom management, learning strategies, and mental health concerns.

Maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, and consultations.

Qualifications

Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.

Valid certification/license as a School Psychologist in Virginia.

Prior Experience In a School Setting Is Preferred.

Proficiency in psychological assessment tools and techniques.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Comfortable with technology for remote assessments and consultations.
