FX Artist

Ingenuity Studios is seeking experienced FX Houdini Artists to work alongside members of the CG Department and work collaboratively with our Compositing Department on a variety of traditional and complex particle and dynamics based FX work. This work is including but not limited to rigid bodies, smoke, fire, liquids, and lightning. We are looking for those who will balance both technical and creative needs to creating compelling, realistic visual effects.

Responsibilities

Excellent knowledge of HoudiniStrong problem solving and math skillsExtensive experience building digital assetsA strong understanding of physics and natural phenomenaMultitask and work productively in a high-pressure environmentTake direction well and implement feedback with a positive attitudeTroubleshoot and solve problems proactively and resourcefullyCreate well organized tools, scripts, and set-ups to facilitate efficient or automated workflows that can be used by other members of the crew

The hiring salary range for this position applies to the United States only. Starting salary will depend on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to the qualifications of the individual applicant, geographic location, market demands, relevant experience, training, level of education, and certifications or other professional licenses held. This role may also qualify for annual incentives and/or comprehensive benefits. Please note, final offers may not fall within this range and are subject to change.

California Pay Range

$30-$60 USD
