Position Summary

Job Description

The Artist/Designer is responsible for the design and creation of assets for websites, games, and native mobile applications. Candidates should be well-versed in the scheduling of asset creation, style guide documentation, and communicating schedules to management. This is a full-time role, and the successful applicant will get to work alongside our team of designer/artists, animators and developers, producing unique and exciting experiences concept to completion.

Job Functions

Reporting directly to the Game Producer, the duties of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Conceptualize themes for games, digital promotions, and other creative materials.
  • Communicate/present concepts with the team.
  • Execute designs based on existing style guides, client requests, and art direction, to completion.
  • Create production ready deliverables such as websites, game assets, and other designs for animators and developers.
  • Work closely with team members to troubleshoot issues throughout the production cycle.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in the related field.

Years Of Related Experience

Years of experience 2 to 5 years

Position Requirements

  • Excellent drawing and rendering abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of design hierarchy and principles.
  • Troubleshoot technical and artistic issues within set deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work efficiently; to pivot artwork based on feedback promptly.
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and collaborate with the team.
  • Always displays a high degree of professionalism, accepting constructive criticism and feedback.

Proficiencies In The Following

Design Industry Software Standards:Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects Highly proficient in MS Office

Bonus Qualifications

  • Understandings of game animations pricinples.

Proficient in Spine or equitable animation tools.

  • Experiecne /Interest in Game Design
  • Knowledge of Figma
  • Familiar with audio engineering software
  • Working knowledge of scheduling software.
