In Qinshift within the Telecommunication industry, we are actively seeking a professional to strengthen our team dedicated to Cloud engineering.

This is you

• Working knowledge in Google Cloud platform
• Strong understanding of various Infrastructure Automation Tools like Terraform
• Experience in architecting, designing, developing, and implementing GCP Cloud solutions
• Experience in maintenance and support of implemented GCP Cloud solutions
• Experience with Container Orchestration tools like Kubernetes (Google Anthos)
• Proficiency in Cloud Build tool, especially Pipelines, Repos and Artifacts
• Experience with Google Cloud Monitoring (Operations Suite)
• Experience with Google Cloud Financial monitoring
• Experience with Incident management of Google Cloud Infrastructure, including remediation and Site Reliability related activities
  
  

Nice-to-have Skills

• Knowledge of application build/deployment and testing strategies
• Proficiency in defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operations
• Solid experience in writing Docker files and Helm charts
• Experience working with Microservices/API architecture
• Familiarity with Configuration Management tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, and/or Windows PowerShell DSC
• Previous experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and/or ELK
• Solid knowledge of Git tool and branching strategies
• Knowledge about Kubernetes supporting services like ingress controllers, service mesh, API gateways, software defined storage
• Experience in configuring and managing databases like MySQL, MS SQL, and/or PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with Agile Team management tools such as JIRA and Confluence
• Good working knowledge on Linux operating systems
• Experience with Gitlab & Gitlab Runner
• Familiarity with Agile Team management tools such as JIRA, BMC Remedy and Confluence
  
  

This is your role

• Collaborating with DevOps and Development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions
• Taking charge of the complete lifecycle of Cloud-based projects, from inception to deployment and ongoing maintenance
• Analyzing existing platforms to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements for better performance and efficiency
• Providing expert infrastructure consulting to address change requests and effectively meet customer requirements
• Developing and delivering tailor-made solutions, aligning with customer specifications or based on our recommended implementation strategies
• Designing, developing, and deploying modular cloud-based systems
• Developing and maintaining cloud solutions in accordance with best practices
• Ensuring efficient functioning of data storage and process functions in accordance with the company security policies and best practices in cloud security
• Implement/Configure/Maintain Google Cloud monitoring on existing and new GCP infrastructures
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code for agreed architectures
