Position Summary

As the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial and operational success of our facility. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving profitability and maintaining positive client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Cultivating a culture of accountability aligned with our values.
  • Leading initiatives to achieve annual growth objectives.
  • Promoting collaboration and supporting employee retention and development.
  • Implementing policies to enhance performance.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Operational Excellence:
  • Analyzing operations for optimization and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Delegating responsibilities and coordinating activities to achieve objectives.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to address issues and resolve problems.
  • Financial Management:
  • Developing and implementing budgetary control systems and administrative processes.
  • Leading financial and budget activities to maximize efficiency.
  • People Management:
  • Managing human resources activities and selecting high-level staff.
  • Implementing policies to ensure operational continuity and productivity.
  • Leading staff training seminars on operational and safety procedures.
  • External Relations:
  • Representing the organization at official functions and liaising with external entities.
  • Negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers and other organizations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Previous experience managing daily P&L and overseeing budgets of $1MM or more.
  • Proven track record in organizing and operating sports tournaments and events.
  • Familiarity with F&B operations, entertainment, and sports clubs.
  • Minimum of 7 years of management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, sports management, marketing, hospitality, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Travel Requirements

  • Minimal travel required.

Working Conditions And Physical Demands

  • Ability to sit for extended periods operating a computer.
  • Intermittent noise in office and facility.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds waist-high.
