We provide best in class parking & facilities for our customers using the highest standards of security, technology and customer service. Our customers range from Fortune 500 logistic companies to Owner Operators. Our network is expanding rapidly including new locations with unique service offerings. Job Description:


The General Manager oversees revenue and costs through effective P&L management for multiple local and remote locations. The mission is to design, build, and manage high-velocity, low-touch storage solutions, standardizing and expanding operations across the U.S.


This role manages daily operations involving rolling equipment, driver check-ins/outs, storage organization, and yard security. Responsibilities include budgeting, customer service, and ensuring the safety of facilities and equipment. The General Manager also supervises maintenance, record keeping, safety protocols, and security to protect employees, service providers, equipment, and assets.


This position is based in Atlanta, GA and reports directly to the Head of Field Operations.


Responsibilities


Customer and Vendor Relations
  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned customers and vendors, ensuring exceptional service.
  • Manage customer escalations by identifying root causes, implementing countermeasures, and executing service recovery plans.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product & Engineering, and Real Estate leadership to optimize customer solutions, including direct sales to new customers.


Yard Operations Management
  • Manage and maintain an effective yard management program to achieve specified accuracy rates.
  • Conduct P&L reviews with direct decision-making abilities for efficient and profitable operations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely customer billing and employee payroll.
  • Identify and justify necessary remodels or replacements of obsolete or unproductive assets.
  • Analyze and redirect workflow to balance workloads appropriately.


Team Leadership and Development
  • Select, hire, train, and develop all employees on location.
  • Manage performance and support the developmental growth of the team.
  • Handle personnel matters related to hiring, training/development, termination, and grievances.
  • Foster a culture of process improvement and defect elimination to enhance customer experience.


Safety and Compliance
  • Oversee work safety management and training, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Direct and oversee record keeping, inspections, audits, and safety training.


Strategic and Operational Excellence
  • Translate business segment strategy into functional plans and guide execution.
  • Assess business conditions, evaluate emerging needs, and take action to improve service, reduce costs, and generate revenue.
  • Anticipate factors influencing strategies and company market position.
  • Manage the enforcement and deployment of SOPs, and track monthly, quarterly, and yearly KPIs.


Problem Solving and Process Improvement
  • Work on complex issues where problems are not clearly defined and where fundamental principles do not fully apply.
  • Foster a culture of process improvement and defect elimination to improve customer experience.


Qualifications & Skills:
  • Passion for customer service, excellent communication, and high attention to detail.
  • Motivation to be a part of a rapidly growing company and be promoted to a larger role.
  • Proficient in computer skills, Microsoft Suite, Teams, Outlook, etc.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
  • Prior P&L responsibility and account management experience.
  • Ability to travel to different work sites


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred (relevant experience can be substituted for the required education on the basis of one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education).
  • Intrinsic competitiveness and burning desire to win. Thrives under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Proven ability to make strategic decisions based on data
  • Curiosity combined with an entrepreneurial spirit and ‘solve-the-problem’ mentality
  • Military Veteran or Law Enforcement experience is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ruthlessly prioritize to focus on most important items and must haves that maximize customer value
  • Multi-site management experience, preferably in logistics terminal, dispatch, or fulfillment center management
  • Prior knowledge of transportation supply chain management.
  • Working knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety rules is strongly preferred.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who are willing to relocate for future opportunities within the company

Pay: $65-80k OTE
