Geologist

Pay Range as of 2024 for this role: $66,750 to 72K

EnSafe Inc. is an employee-owned global professional services firm specializing in environmental, engineering, health and safety, and technology solutions. EnSafe is seeking a Staff Geologist/Environmental Scientist/Engineer with experience to join our Concord, CA team.

What You Will Be Doing

• Performing Phase I/II environmental site assessments
• Preparation of work plans
• Conducting site investigation activities (sampling of soil, groundwater, surface water, indoor air, vapor intrusion, soil gas, drinking water, and building materials)
• Provide environmental compliance support to senior regulatory specialists, including data collection for permitting and/or registration; regulatory compliance evaluation and assessment; and preparation of plans and reports.
• Field documentation
• Assist in writing technical reports
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of a BS (MS preferred) in Geology, Engineering, or Environmental Science
• 0-5 years of experience (previous internships are helpful)
• Professional registration, certification, geotechnical, and/or geophysics experience are a plus
• Outstanding proficiency in Microsoft Programs including Word and Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Local travel likely with occasional regional travel
