Global Corporate CFO - Remote | WFH

What You'll Do

As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will play a pivotal role on the executive leadership team, collaborating closely with the Chief Executive Officer to execute our strategic vision. You will spearhead the enhancement of our finance and accounting functions, ensuring scalability and employing an analytical, data-driven approach in your interactions with the board of directors. This position necessitates cross-functional teamwork to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within a professional services environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Financial Strategy Development: Align financial strategies with organizational goals.

Financial Reporting & Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, adhering to investor and lender requirements.

Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis; provide insights for optimizing performance.

Capital Allocation & Investment Management: Oversee capital decisions and investment strategies to maximize returns.

Treasury Function: Manage cash flow, maintain liquidity, oversee bank relationships, and manage debt and treasury operations.

Risk Management: Implement risk management practices and develop contingency plans, including expense policies and controls for corporate credit card programs.

Audit and Tax Management: Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors, manage corporate and payroll tax compliance.

Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with investors, financial institutions, lenders, and advisors.

Operational Efficiency & Performance Improvement: Collaborate with operational teams to enhance efficiency and profitability.

Leadership & Team Development: Mentor and lead the global finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

Must-Haves

What You'll Bring:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; CPA required.

MBA or advanced degree preferred.

12+ years of senior leadership experience with a strong performance record.

7+ years in a leadership role managing global teams.

Proven ability to attract, develop, retain, and motivate top talent.

Experience as CFO or finance leader in a multinational professional services or similar company.

Track record of driving efficiency, cost containment, and operational improvements.

Competence in implementing financial controls, management systems, and performance measures.

Familiarity with US GAAP and current accounting standards.

Analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.

Hands-on leadership with business maturity, intellect, and integrity.

High urgency in delivering accurate financial results.

Ability to build and develop a high-performing global team.

Experience engaging with executive teams, boards, and investors.

Occasional international travel may be required.
