What You’ll Do

SailPoint is seeking a Global Head of Business Value to lead a team of 7 Value Strategists and hire several more. Our Business Value team helps prospects build business cases to justify purchasing our platform. The ideal candidate is comfortable toggling between delivering C-level presentations and fine tuning our model assumptions seamlessly. Key priorities include maintaining best-in-class win rates, expanding the team internationally, and leveraging other teams / partners to increase capacity.

Experience Required

· 10+ years in business value, management consulting, and/or enterprise SaaS sales

· 4+ years of building and leading cross-functional and global teams

· Understanding how B2B SaaS is built and sold, ideally in the identity space

Skills Required

· Team Building – Hiring and coaching a global team of rockstars

· Executive Engagement – Leading C-level discussions across SailPoint, customer, and partner stakeholders

· Account Strategy – Partnering closely with sales teams to develop and execute creative account strategies and proposals

· Sales Insights – Extracting insights from Salesforce.com to improve sales process and forecasting cadence

· Cross-Functional Initiatives – Driving strategic projects proactively across sales, partners, marketing, customer success, professional services, and product teams

· Sales Enablement – Developing and enabling sellers with value-focused sales tools and collateral

Location

· Austin, TX is preferred

· Low travel requirements – team meets quarterly in Austin and some customers prefer in-person workshops

Education

· Degrees in computer science, engineering, or finance preferred

Benefits and Compensation listed vary based on the location of your employment and the nature of your employment with SailPoint.

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect SailPoint’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD):

$148,617 - $212,310 - $276,003

Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee’s home location.
