UEP exclusively manufactures and distributes Repel® and Rain-Mate® umbrellas, Everlasting Comfort® memory foam products, electronic gadgets, and bedding essentials, as well as Le Chateau® wine decanters, Café du Chateau® coffee makers, LumiLux Toilet Light®, Triton® dog leashes, and Flux Phenom® magnetic screen doors.



JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly organized and data-driven Global Inventory Manager to oversee and optimize our inventory management processes across multiple locations, ensuring product availability, cost efficiency, and seamless coordination between our global teams. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in inventory management, supply chain coordination, and data-driven decision-making. This role combines expertise in optimizing global inventory levels with the ability to forecast demand and streamline supply chain processes. The Global Inventory Manager will be instrumental in managing stock across multiple locations, ensuring timely replenishment for Amazon FBA, and collaborating with global teams to drive inventory efficiency. This position requires a blend of strategic planning, technical proficiency, and strong communication skills to ensure smooth coordination with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders across the organization.



ABOUT YOU

This role requires prior hands-on experience managing inventory and supply chain operations for a 3P Amazon seller. Familiarity with Amazon’s ever-evolving fulfillment and inventory requirements is critical for success in this position. The right candidate will have direct experience with Amazon Seller Central and FBA replenishment processes is mandatory. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven ability to navigate Amazon’s FBA policies, manage account health, and optimize inventory levels for a 3P seller.


LOCATION: This role is based on-site in Austin, TX


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage global replenishment plans for shipments to Amazon
  • Perform inventory and data audits
  • Interact with sales, marketing, and finance teams on inventory related task
  • Understand forecast modeling and data analytics
  • Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to demand planning process
  • Automate replenishment planning and approval process
  • Oversee global inventory levels, ensuring stock availability across multiple warehouses to meet demand while minimizing overstock and stockouts.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to develop accurate demand forecasts, using historical sales data and market trends to adjust inventory levels accordingly.
  • Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers in Shenzhen to coordinate production schedules, lead times, and shipment timelines.
  • Manage Amazon FBA replenishment strategies, maintaining ideal stock levels in fulfillment centers and coordinating with third-party logistics (3PL) partners for smooth operations. Audit 3PL monthly invoices ensuring accuracy and contract compliance
  • Implement inventory optimization tools and processes, improving inventory turnover and reducing excess stock while ensuring fulfillment efficiency.
  • Generate and analyze inventory reports, identifying key insights for continuous improvement. Report on key metrics such as inventory turnover, fill rates, and carrying costs.
  • Partner with finance, operations, and sourcing teams to align inventory strategies with business goals, ensuring smooth communication and coordination across the supply chain.
  • Monitor inventory risk factors such as supplier reliability, shipping delays, and customs clearance. Ensure compliance with all applicable trade regulations.



QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's/Masters degree in Supply Chain, Performance Analytics, Economics, Finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain/logistics, preferably in a fast-paced environment, working directly with Amazon 3P seller operations, including FBA replenishment, inventory management, and account health maintenance.
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory management and business analytics.
  • Strong understanding of Amazon FBA operations and inventory replenishment strategies.
  • Proficiency with inventory management systems (IMS), demand planning tools, and ERP systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including formulas like INDEX, MATCH, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and IMPORTRANGE.
  • Expertise in inventory reconciliation processes; variance analysis and clearance
  • Experience negotiating storage contracts with third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
  • General understanding of forecasting models and analytics.
  • Familiarity with inventory management practices in retail and eCommerce settings.
  • Experience conducting cycle counts.
  • Knowledge of 3PL invoice reconciliation processes.
  • Understanding of the purchase-to-pay process.
  • Experience managing and evaluating supplier performance.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms (International Commercial Terms).
  • Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Netsuite, or similar.
  • Ability to analyze data, solve problems independently, and develop solutions without needing step-by-step instructions.
  • Experience using basic to intermediate macros for process automation.
  • Experience building and managing analytics in Power BI.
  • Experience with home goods or consumer products is a PLUS
  • Familiarity with Chinese sourcing and manufacturing processes a PLUS
  • Knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies a PLUS
