Global Payment Manager

Job Description

Manage the Global Payments process including liaise with the Global Business Services (GBS) Accounts Payable team and administer the Concur and Ringi processes and tools. Job duties:

  • Manage the daily operations related to Concur System and act as the Administrator of the Concur system (US/CR).
  • Review and reconcile all Goods Receipts / Invoice Receipts transactions for the US entity. Responsible for reporting monthly global status.
  • Act as the Accounts Payable liaison between GBS and MicroVention teams. Review monthly Accounts Payable closings, journal, and account reconciliations.
  • Communicate and act as a liaison with internal customers and teams.
  • Interface with internal and external auditors.
  • Develop, monitor, and report on key department metrics such as payment aging, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Prepare departmental and management reports, e.g., Vendor Aging Reports.
  • Provide RINGI process support and training.
  • Provide local ARIBA system support.
  • Manage the intercompany Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable cut-off process to ensure alignment between entities.
  • Develop and perform ongoing reviews and analytics of the department to monitor efficiency and accuracy.
  • Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of six (6) years of relevant work experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounting roles.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of management or supervisory experience.
  • Experience working with a large ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, and/or JDE (experience with A/P workflow automation a plus).
  • Knowledge of Accounting principles and procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Strong customer service, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Success working independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to develop and train staff.
  • Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and expertise with ERP systems.

Desired Qualifications

  • CPA or MBA preferred.
  • Experience with Accounts Payable scanning and workflow systems.
  • Previous Accounts Payable experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Medical device industry experience.
  • Prior experience with Concur and ARIBA.
